Content syndication

With content syndication, companies post or promote their own blogs, articles, videos and other online content on other organizations’ websites.

As a form of content marketing, content syndication helps raise a company’s online profile by making its content available to a very large audience across multiple sites. When content syndication drives traffic back to the company’s own website (to download a full article, for example), it is called inbound marketing.

Content syndication may be a paid service or unpaid. In either case, content syndication requires a company to know its audience well to be effective, and it must post its content on websites that audiences are likely to visit.
