Export plan

An export plan outlines how a company will establish or grow its business internationally, and usually identifies:

  • Potential target markets
  • Specific goals and the actions needed to achieve them
  • Required resources
  • Expected results

A detailed, realistic export plan helps entrepreneurs evaluate the potential risks and benefits of doing business abroad and provides a clear path to achieving their business goals.
