The Ombudsman's role is to ensure that BDC addresses your concerns impartially and equitably
Your message comes to a private email address.
The Ombudsman will reply directly, if he or she can. If not, the Ombudsman will forward your query anonymously to the appropriate people at BDC and will redirect their response to you.
If your message requires follow-up action (such as in the case of an ethical matter or a complaint), you will be involved only if you agree to be. Your anonymity will be protected, unless you decide to become directly involved.

The Ombudsman will not divulge your identity to anyone without your permission.
The Ombudsman will not discuss the matter with anyone but the person or department concerned, and you may remain anonymous.
The Ombudsman will get back to you with an answer or solution to your concern.
This entire process will be carried out in a strictly confidential manner.
